Companions look hideous

Is it me or the companions designs looks bad? They give me Concord vibes if you know what I mean

Hideous? Giatta is probably the best looking companion to grace a game in the last decade.

I like the designs.

the only one that kinda looks off is the Orlan, the others look fine, i definitely wouldn't go as far to say it looks like concord because that's a bit of a stretch.

They all look very appropriate for the Pillars world, unlike some designs in another recently released RPG I could mention.

Yeah, I don't remember anyone complaining about character design in PoE, and that was one unusual looking group. Except Edér, who is unequivocally a pretty boy.

I think the more vibrant colors makes them look a bit weird compared to PoE

he just looks like a coastal Aumaua, i guess he could look like something from concord but obsidian couldn't have really done any better, hes about as close to what an Aumaua should look like so you cant really fault them on that.

I like how shiny Kai is, they did a good job with him as an Aumaua. They're definitely going after the fangirls with him: "Well, no more BioWare, let's take Garrus and put him in our game instead"

then you definitely haven't play POE 2 because this colour scheme is very similar. this game is set in a tropical location like the second game so of course its gonna look the same, the first game only looks as dark and depressing as it does because its set in Dyrwood which is all swamps and cursed forests, the entire world of Eora doesn't look like that. its very obvious they're trying to capture the same feel as Deadfire.
