Avowed
Thought I'd look at some numbers
So, I decided to use both steamdb and steamspy to try and get a good view of how this game is doing, numbers wise, as it releases in a couple of weeks.

https://steamdb.info/app/2457220/charts/
https://steamspy.com/app/2457220

So, according to steamdb, here are a few numbers:

#27 in wishlists
#178 in top sellers

According to steamspy, the estimated number of owners on steam is between 0-20,000.

I also understand that the game is on gamepass so a lot of people will be playing it like that rather than purchasing it.

Overall though, even compared to other games that went on game pass, I'd say that this game is doing, in the most eloquent way I can put it, piss-poor.

I don’t think he needs to elaborate further? I mean, the numbers are right there.
#27 in wishlists is pretty high

Hopefully it flops hard.

We been through this before. The Xbox tax has hurt their new IP. Only their legacy IP(Flight Sim, Diablo, AgeOf etc) have sold on Steam. All of their recent stuff has low Steam concurrent REGARDLESS of quality. Great/Good games like Hifi Rush or Indiana Jones DRASTICALLY underperform. Most likely...consumers are not risking a full purchase and playing via Gamepass.

Also, Xbox is NOTORIOUS for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ marketing and has a horrible consumer reputation. Avowed will most likely get decent to good reviews, do well on Gamepass, have low Steam numbers.

Not really. Especially for a game from an established studio like Obsidian.

That it's not out probably has something to do with that, ya think?

How about in a million and one years then? We could put it on the calendar.

You know, for people who say they don't care about what other people think about them... y'all sure do a lot of caring about what other people think of you.

Did you see the EA press release from January 22nd btw?

Apparently Electronic Arts Inc is being investigated by shareholder rights advocates.

Maybe. But does not sound like a flop either.
