I almost developed epilepsy from the gameplay vid alone.
It's an over the top reaction but the art direction has indeed been a major point of criticism. I would have preferred a more grounded, neutral style like BG3, Elder Scrolls, etc.
While I wouldn't call it cartoony it definitely leans in closer to say WoW's art style which is fine but it's not for everyone.
All this kind of narcissism does is discredit you further, just so you know. Especially since dislike of the art style is one of the most common criticisms about the game.
A game, mind you, which is already doing worse than other games tracking really poorly or that have tracked really poorly and flopped, like Outlaws, Veilguard, and AC Shadows.
Clearly something isn't latching peoples' attention and what do you think one of the first impressions you get without knowing anything about the game is, lmao?
Let me know if you need a clue.
Oh, I'm open to hearing different opinions. Not only that, I understand that the best positions are those that can withstand criticism, so you should welcome. I am also open to being convinced/proven what I was wrong.
Unlike you, I don't objectively handwave everyone else's opinion as "wrong."
The 'ol "it's just a joke dude chill daddy" card belongs in the 2000s and isn't going to work today.
