Apparently it's all about phrasing now - choosing your gender identity to determine your pronouns is non-woke but choosing your pronouns directly is woke.


Kinda feel like it should be the opposite if anything, really, but that's the magic of being definition-fluid.

If I see he/him next to my nickname in Steam, it would annoy me, because it reminds me so much of the activists that put THIS in front of game quality (and that are loud and immature)

Pronouns as titles are annoying and intrusive. Simple as that.

I think the closest I can imagine to 'pronouns as titles' is someone being really confused when reading German.

But that's 'Herr' and not 'Her'


I mean yeah if Avowed was writing out all the dialogue in the game as


"Giatta (she/her): Hello there godlike."
"Playername (they/them): I want to be a dragon."


Then it'd be pretty obnoxious, but...uh...it's not doing that. It's a character creation decision.

I'm assuming you mean pronouns in character selection. How much time do you spend in character selection? Because, if it really is "constantly" there might be a issue with your hardware.
Yes, you are free the reject the game or mod out the elements you don't like.
Also, Baldur's Gate does have pronouns and body types(it's been awhile since I've played though).

Yeah I've played bg3 and I don't recall being forced into any kind of pronoun selection. These guys will whip out a pic showing a "non binary option" in the creator but it's just an option and not forced...

If I remember right it was inclusive to all ideologies though and it never forced he/him they/them nonsense though. I'll have to reinstall and look though. No one in these forums gives an honest answer on it.
