Obese representation...
Hello,

I'm quite the obese person. Is there proper representation for overweight characters in this game? All games have perfectly ripped people, and I would love to play someone with a bit of flab.

Is this going to be in the game?

Yes! Lil' Matt promised that you could make your character obese, with -10 stamina and +10 armour AND even morbidly obese, with -20 stamina and +20 armour!

This real?
I bet obsidian could get a good deal on the model for that dude(?) from Concord.

Oh you can do that in Baldurs Gate 3 cant you?
Sure I'll get on board with this providing the obese characters have excessively red cheeks, start wheezing as soon as they perform an action and have severely limited stats. For realism purposes...

There are not that much games where you can create fat characters. From games with 3d graphic I know Kenshi, Dragons Dogma and Blackthorn Arena. Despite all claims of inclusivity noone wants to bother with armor clipping

Yes I play Kenshi and I have my faction and squads where I find starving people and feed them loads of food. Once they have finished an entire bag of food, I go make them fat characters. We are the "NOzempic" faction.
can we have some representation for normal people?

Despite what you may think, regardless of what you consider "normal," that never actually went away.

The game has it, and your character will die of Heart Attack at Level 30.
Average US woman is 180 pounds (81.6 KG) so I would hope at least half the females in Avowed are above that average. They also need to make the females unattractive so gamers can see the inner beauty - Matt Hansen will deliver.

I'm a smallfat so I'm still privileged but I want to see more plus sized bodies in avowed.

Sadly no.

You can in Cyberpunk (I think) and Saints Row (at least some of them)

Make sure my obese character speed modifier is -35%.
