From what I gather the story is subbpar but the gameplay actually improves on what skyrim did mechanically. Magic looks really fun. This is ok, not everything needs to be a 10.
PoE2 had some strides forward and some missteps, but Avowed looks like it leapt of a cliff.
I think they could tap into the tabletop genre maybe? Diversify.
I'm not very optimistic about the future though, but at least we'll have PoE 1 and 2 to play until society collapses... or something.
