controller not working even with DS4windows on gamepass

as the title says the game doesn`t recognize dualshock 4 even with DS4windows that works on every other game on game pass

You need Xinput converter. I think sony uses dinput.

I have had issues with DS4 and gamepass games, I ended up buying a logitech controller and that works fine.

DualSense (bluetooth) with DS4Windows v3.3.3 working just fine here on gamepass. I'd assume a DS4 should work as well.
Is your profile set to emulate xbox 360 controller?
There's also a DS4 UI mod over at nexus to grab so you don't have to look at the xbox controller button UI.

Steam can force controller configs even when not in steam.
Never tried on gamepass, but it should work.
