all valid except the pronouns that break immersion. not sure how that breaks immersion seeing as if you play as a male in a game the game refers to you as male, or female as female, etc etc. nonbinary has also existed, too. look at legion from mass effect. they're called '' they '' and '' them. ''
also, there's a toggle.
I also wish melee combat was better, although I´m not pulling my hair over it since I wasn´t a fan of the melee combat of most similar games.
Not a fan of the writting, I don´t hate it but I find myself ignoring it sometimes.
While I don´t think entering a town and murdering everyone should be a requierement, since you could in The outerworlds feels weird this one doesn´t allow it. Then again this one isn´t as much of a sandbox as it´s very narrative heavy and telling a focused story.
And just to make it clear, I wouldn´t call any game "woke" nor do I use that word other than to mock it, this fake outrage it´s pointless and helps nobody. Don´t care there´s an option for pronoums, more powers to the players that want them even if they trully are such a minuscule portion of population it´s also such a minuscule thing that doesn´t affect the game in any way. I want all games to be good for someone, I want gaming to be a thing anyone can approach and find something they like, if someone doesn´t like this game enough for valid reasons that´s good and dandy... the bigotry we have seen in these forum though, not cool, and seems to have being very vicious on this one (I guess mostly the Matt Hasen stuff, as usual the defenders of "freedom of speech" think a person should be publicly humilliated and fired from everywhere just cause they made a weird joke mentioning being a white person which he happens to be). Thankfully I think the success of the game even before officially launching will go clearing the area of tourists, and some of the ones that actually play games are actually buying it and accepting some of those "woke" elements and claiming it´s not such a big deal and the game scratch the action adventure RPG nitch, so even some "anti-wokers" seem to be moving on away from the noise and just making their own oppinions despite their biases.
a lot of games nowdays seem to be poorly optimized for PC at least at launch. but the game isn't out yet... maybe there'll be an update, who knows.
all valid reasons though!
i never liked games that do that. like nioh, or xenoblade. where you have to do a specific thing to make an enemy actually be able to be damaged. assuming that's what it is-
i think if your game actually has a lot of content and has great repeatability its worth the price tag.
unfortunately obsidian seemed to do what they did with the outer worlds and make it a short game. but maybe there'll be dlc. outer worlds got it and for the most part i liked them.
so like putting armor/weapons on them?
Oh nono, sorry if I mispoked. My PC can´t run it cause it doesn´t meet the requierements hehehe, old potato toaster. No idea about the game optimization, but yes if some folks have issues I´m sure patches will be something the devs may even be working as we speak before official launch.
and you are free to have that opinion.
