Avowed keeps running on "Exit to Desktop"

I still see it running in the background in steam... i can kill it from Task manager...but a quick heads up to devs if they read this.
This happens quite often (Windows 10 - 3080 Graphics card)

Same here, I exit, but sometimes it just never stops.

oh and, BIOS is updated to the latest, drivers, windows, and anything else that can be updated is updates, so save that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for someone else.

What system are you using? (show full setup)
Are you using nvidia ? (then be sure not to use dlss)
post a dxdiag.

This happens a lot for me, when i quit games with alt+f4.

I'm am using Nvidia and DLSS, why would I not use it? Unless, the game is not working with it properly yet?

I'm not bothering with a DXDiag report, there it nothing, and I mean nothing wrong with my PC.

I'm thinking it has something to do with the cloud saves, so might be a STEAM cloud issue.

DLSS always have issues on console games.. because they are optimized for AMD.
The developer also advice turning it off if you have issues with it (they posted in one of the threads)

I would try without DLSS and instead using native (it should be no problem for you, as you do 60 fps cap anyway) alternatively FSR if you really need it.

Cloud saves should not be the cause if this, but you can obviously tinker with it to see if it helps.

Exit to desktop from the game and it continues to run. It's not a big deal, I just hit stop running on Steam and it works fine but it is a known issue.

Suit yourself....

Factor in that the game is developed with AMD in mind as well (console game)

Intel and NVIDIA always have launch issues with these console ports

When it does this go to the app screen on your library and hit stop.

Same , always keep running (according to steam at least ) after i quit the game . Have to force stop it every time.

Happens with XBOX Game Pass as well. Exit to Desktop, try to restart it later, says it's still running.
