The presets are like a drag race with no winners. I'm not kidding, just wait until you see the premade character select screen. That thing is gonna get meme'd on hard. Selecting "hide" for godlike features will be picked more often than not, because of how stupid goofy it looks.
The speech between the PC and the Oracle just illustrates how bad we got served.
PoE fans will feel both ripped off and intrigued at the same time.
Mushrooms, not flowers.
And because some real life mushrooms animate dead insects like zombie puppets. Cordyceps is one of them.
In a world where the main character has the world's worst infection of athlete's foot, in their head.
The writers were really stretching their creativity to give us some amazing out there themes.
Do you like the same anti-colonialism and environmentalism you hear blasted everywhere else until everything has to have The Message until it's in thematic conformity? You'll really love this game.
There's some good choice and consequences RPG gameplay here but the themes drag it down. There are some bits of great fantasy that aren't trying to become a pseudo college course, thankfully.
Well, for the premade select screen that folks will find LONG before any pronoun select... and absolutely moot any care about pronouns because of how goofy it all looks...
It's more like Athlete's Face.
Truly fungus amongus.
You can be a Fun Guy.
There's a fungus amungus.
The answer to any opinion is YES you can.. An the developers knowing how terrible it looks, absolutely made it so you can turn it ALL OFF.. Before you even make a character, which is all the logic you need to see to understand its a terrible design choice
I mean they look like a clicker from The Last of Us. Its ugly.
It's a cool concept if it didn't look terrible, like Sargamis looks cool for being a godlike.
They turned potential of a fantasy customization into something that best works when turned off. I'm sure it's only even there because the plot says so, because of the rest of the jank around the game Obsidian wouldn't have done even that much.
There's some solid choice and consequences, at least it looks like it so far, but you're going to be reminded of the art direction's disgrace every dialog unless you turn it off, and then NPCs will only mention it as if you still had mushrooms growing backwards into your face like a masquerade mask.
