Avowed
Muddy graphics on Max settings
I have a problem with the graphics of this game, I don't care for the highest graphics, but the issue I have is no matter how much I change the settings, the game looks muddy when I move my camera, I tried disabling AA , but nothing works. Unreal Engine games do have issues with forced TSA but in this game it looks worse.

sounds like motion blur maybe?
try turning off motion blur

it is at 0%
if that doesn't help with blurring, the game IS broken. But I gotta ask, when it comes to motion blurring, there's no percentage involved. It's either on or off.

the issue I have is during motion, so I assume the problem is with the anti aliasing , there is no option to choose SMAA sadly

This isn’t unique to this game. Use reshade and turn on ‘fake hdr’ and curves.

I play in 1440p with all of the settings turned up, motion blur off, dlss quality or off, reshade on with curves, sharpen, and fake HDR. IT STILL LOOKS WORSE THAN GAMES MADE 10 YEARS AGO. ITS BLURRY. THIS GAME ENGINE SUCKS.
Refund.

Okay finally found a fix. It's not perfect but forcing dlaa and turning off the fog helps a lot!

My only Issue is the sky, is blurry during day time, other than that games looks beautiful on max settings with 4k and DLSS Quality.

That's great. Some people are more particular about visuals than others.

Check resolution scaling? I don't have the game, but that's been a problem for me in some Unreal games and in some custom engines, where they for some reason went for 50% original resolution (clearly, my PC is capable of rendering at 100%)

Yeah, it's not that. In the game settings, FSR offers 100% resolution. Forcing DLAA looks better than that imo. There's something off about the native assets. It's especially noticable in outdoor areas with foliage during the day. The game looks fine at night, in caves, in most cities, and other indoor settings.

FSR is an "upscaler" which means it is not running native resolution.
(approximated native resolution, yes; i will always recommend CAS if available)
