All studios which sold to big corpos are dying. In the West, only European independent studios, like Larian, Warhorse, or OwlCat, are saving the CRPG genre. And they are proving that great games can still be made, at a fraction of the cost of AAA slop.

Hope Indie Studios will rise at this point your game is automatically a win If you don´t put politics in them and when It does not look like fortnite.
I am not so sure about that. I think they will make the same mistakes as the others studios.
And CD Projekt will devolve into a Ubisoft basically.
