Avowed or Skyrim

I personally like skyrim more. While the combat in skyrim feels boring I like a lot of the other mechanics.

I just watched some of the gameplay ..
Even though skyrim is over 13 years old .. its superior in every way.
Combat is better.
Quests are better.
World is better.
NPC audio and animations are better.
Spells are better, effects and animation.

It honestly boggles my mind how Avowed today with all the technology etc., is so outdated .. completely insane.

In Skyrim you can burn people to ash.
Here they just disappear .. no death animation.

You can take skyrim few steps further, install mods ..
Its been years since i played it, but there were mods for proper ragdoll physics, or mod where you can burn just the flesh and you leave a burned corpse, skeleton ..
Buts thats modding ..
If you are interested google some "skyrim graphic gameplay 2024" or 25, you can mod the game so much .. but modding takes time .. hours or weeks :)

Vanilla itself is way better, better visuals, effects, colors .. yeah it has worse polygons, textures, but thats extra if its good .. if everything from the basics like speech, audio, text, gameplay, combat, traveling, exploration is boring, dull, death .. its not fun.
Skyrim is fun even in without mods.

In Skyrim you will be praised as dragonborn, the chosen one, you will conquer dungeons, dragons, towns .. no one will call you racist.
In Avowed .. well, the hate towards men, people is next level .. but nothing new many other games did not already tried and failed every single time :)

There's no argument - modded Skyrim blows this piece of trash out of the water as a CRPG.

With Wabbajack and Nexus Premium, it's a cakewalk. I've installed a full modpack for Skyrim (500+ mods) last year in about an hour, and most of it was automated (so just time taken for auto-downloading and auto-installing).

WOAH! Let's not get crazy. Skyrim paved the way for this game. If it's not as good, it's because it came out 14 years ago. Avowed is pretty solid, though.

That's because this game was originally designed as a multiplayer game. It's also the reason why enemies stand in place on the map and wait for you to get close, just like an mmo.

why are people getting so upset about this game being better than Skyrim or not. F Skyrim. Skyrim is alright it aint even that great. Maybe a million years ago. And even modded, its decent but not that great, modding doesn't change the game it only enhances it and Skyrim is only alright so enhancing it makes pretty alright.
The amount of time required for modding is idiotic.

Lots to choose from, I recommend, Living Skyrim on wabbajack, but Nexus premium is a must, get it for a month, 9euro or w/e, while you're at it you can expand on the other bethesda games lol, fallout 4 / new vegas etc

Skyrim isn't even that great, but compared to this game. It's a master-piece.
