The game failed by all standards
It's very obvious the game failed because of the mediocre writing. Watch any review and that's the main issue.

Why is there mediocre writing? Well, because the writers of this game care more about politics than crafting an interesting story.

Just like Veilguard did. Until these people like Matt Hansen are removed from the industry, this won't change.

The saddest thing is the people who excuse such terrible writing because it agrees with their personal political views. Shame on you for rewarding garbage

Hey Shekels you wanna point to anything in the actual writing or just make some vague statements?

The game is simple. Not everybody likes that. But this is the case and this is more a feature than a failing.

I find that very good, however. There's enough crafting in the game, and the concept in that case is refreshing. Although, I think it should be possible to let a smithupgrade your waapons for a higher price, but without needing the resources. and still cheaper than just buying a higher quality-version.

Same for enchantments. But here maybe with the need of finding according receipss for the enchanter, which will they then can test out.

But I don't miss it realy. I did watch previews beforeahnd and did know of the simlicity of this game. I accepted that, otherwise, I would have bought it.

That would give up the grift.

See those are examples of good things about the game. But the bad things far outweigh it. I've seen multiple reviews and they all talk about how bland, mediocre and condescending the writing is.

And in an RPG, that's everything. It's why Veilguard failed and it's why this game will too.

Yeah, this wasn't completely unexpected since the game is a reworked multiplayer experience. I believe the exploration and combat compensate for any shortcomings in companion reactivity and depth. It looks good, but not great.
