[FIXED] The UE-Alabama Game has crashed

Anyone else getting this error? Has been happening a lot. First i thought it was only during certain scenes/events (heavy ones like fighting), but now i've started to get it randomly. first by just walking down the street, and now while i was in a conversation with an enchantress.

Does anyone have a fix for this? Doesn't seem like there will be a bugfix for this by the devs...

HOWEVER, now i've been able to have the game running for over 24h (didn't exit it in case it wouldn't work again next time :P ). I'm not sure WHAT i did for it to work, or if it was just luck. However here is what i did change:

I enabled W11's GPU acceleration (?) and did a few changes in Nvidia App.
RTX Dynamic Vibrance - On
RTX HDR - On
DSR Factors - 1.78x; 2,25; Smoothness 33%
Smooth Motion - off
Low Latency Mode - Ultra
Image Scaling - Sharpen 50 - Render Resolution 85% (3482x1836)
Max Frame Rate - This is one of the changes i did, changed it from 120->60.
Power Management Mode - This is the 2nd change i did, from Normal->Prefer maximum performance.
Shader Cache Size - Driver default
Vertical Sync - Use the 3D application setting
Virtual Reality-Variable Rate Super Sampling - Off.

In-game i have most settings at max.
Frame Limit - Unlimited.
Nvidia DSSL3
Vsync - off
Ray Tracing - on
DLSS Super Resolution Quality - Auto
DLSS Frame Generation - Auto
Nvidia Reflex Low Latency - On + Boost
Graphic Quality - Epic

I'm playing with AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.

I hope this helps for anyone else stil having this problem, but i can't guarantee it, me getting it to work could also just be pure luck!

I get every five to 10 mins, an no fix so far...

Got it twice in 5h of playing, random time, I do save often though so I was able to play without minding too much

yea i've also had to do that, but it's starting to get too annoying for it to be worth continuing trying. Why i had hoped maybe there was a fix i could do manualy, since it doesn't seem everyone get this crash?

Im requesting refund, cant play more that 10mins if luck, an now the save file is corrupted, how can games launch like this and be ok to sell, I has 9950x with 7900XTX

Some people said it is because of overheating, so probably an issue with ressources. At least it should be fixable in not too long

It seems this is an issue on Xbox too, and yet also just SOME who has this problem. Wtf is it!?!?!?!? If only some of us has this problem, it should be something we could fix ourselves until an official fix comes along.. Seems the biggest problem is finding out WHAT it is that's causing it, and the crash report doesn't really give any answers...

It does not, on windows 23h3 and 24h2, same issue, I updated drivers to the newest one for avowed after the first crash, still crashes..., I updated to the newest windows, I checked temps since someone said its that, it clearly just the game development team did something very wrong, and its even wilder that its okay to sell it like this AND its corrupting save files too, absolutely wild. It even happens on linux proton lol, crazy.

Got the "The UE-Alabama Game has crashed" a lot. Like... pretty much everytime I load my save file and play for like 3 min.

Anyone got a solution by now?

Game crashed randomly.
No overclocking, using intel bios profile (14900KF/RTX 4090)

Update: problem was solved for me by turn off RT.

Had the same problem. Crash every 10 mins.

Another possible solution: Turn off DLSS if you have set a FPS limit.

After that I played for 30 minutes without any crashes

UE alabama is just the code name for this games engine in its files. that error just means the engine crashed
