Avowed
They gave you the UGLIEST god-touched option XD
Okay, so, just as another point on the graph of devs absolutely loathing their audience - they gave you by far the ugliest option. In comparison:

Death-Touched: Kinda ugly, but can be also kinda menacing / badass as you get black carapace plates on your face of different shapes and those cover your eyes. So you get sort of a death-mask that is scary and creepy to people.

Fire-Touched: Your head's on fire, but you look fairly normal otherwise. Your hair is also fire-like, so makes for a cool, badass look.

Water-Touched: Same as fire, except water, still can look sexy.

Ending-Touched: You're an avatar of decease, not functional in the setting since you are basically a WH40k Plague Marine.

Moon-Touched: You're pretty much a Night Elf from Warcraft - pretty, shiny eyes, glowing moon sickle on your forehead, dark-violet skin, but in a pretty way.

Nature-Touched: You're a deer furry. Not the best, but at least you can make some sort of Oberon character, where you get mighty antlers.

Avian-Touched: You're made prettier by the goddess of prettiness with feathers.

Dawn-Touched: You're an Aasimar.

Skaen-Touched: Usually deformed to the point of being non-functional, so wouldn't have been an option.

So yeah, out of all the options, they gave you basically the only one where you can still do your job, while looking utterly disgusting and have every NPC demean you XD

Skaen-touched are not deformed to non-functionality. They are simply almost always killed at birth because they look horrifically deformed, like they've been maimed by a dude with a knife. Because that's what Skaen looks like.

The God touched options very much mirror the stuff you see on a drag queen story hour situation. It was so hilarious
I don't care about the god touched options, what bothers me is the hair. Feels like they spent most of the games budget on hair designs and didn't bother adding some of the most basic styles that are in all games.
It's generally such a strange aesthetic choice. Not everything has to be beautiful but this doesn't look appealing in any way. It doesn't look cool or particularly interesting.

I've never liked mushrooms so maybe I'm just naturally averse to it.

Yeah, their char screen collage posted a few weeks ago was straight up from pride parade.

They gave you the new god-like not tied to any of the older gods because it’s literally tied directly to the plot…

It’s like complaining that in Skyrim you have to be a dragon born when you wanted to be a swordsinger or nerevarine instead.

(Also it’s funny that I see so many people here who were all over KCD2 forums complaining about woke gays)

Ah, yes, and the only option they had was to make it vomit-inducing to every NPC you meet. Their hand were bound, nothing they could've written differently. It's not like it's their story or anything XD

It's like giving your character leprosy and then argue "well, duh, why else would you be in a leper colony, lol"
Yeah, I guess someone else decided on the plot, not them lul
