You keep telling yourself that EA representative and then act surprised when the game fails one after the other.
want to despise games and focus on their critical issues - that's what you'll see.
want to love games and look for the good - you'll be feeling a lot of enjoyment.
want to learn to optimize your PC, and choose the right parts for your PC and decisions for you OS, you may be able to avert some of those bugs. maybe go Intel/NVIDIA next time. It's not always the fault of the game.
want to move on quickly from games you don't like (Steam refund).
you're joining a collective mass of gamers which are hard wired to overcome technology issues, in search of edifying software, in a realm of very complicated PC technology, with many working parts and variables which must align - to even make the magic picture show wonder box move in front of your eyes right now - and these gamers and PC enthusiasts, who have been.. absolutely tearing up crappy-amazing PCs since before ALL OF US were born, making beasts of machine out of cobbled parts, perfected and optimized, and have seen more bugs in THEIR LIVES, and games which didn't tick ALL their boxes, or which didn't have certain design elements they really really wanted.
Nay Child, welcome ye - for thou hast stumbled upon the Abyss of computer gaming. A pit so dank and nebulous dark ye shall never emerge unscathed. Yet wonders shall ye find, AND treasures shall ye discover, if thou hathest thine balls to push through the good and the bad in it.
Man, some of us used to play Ultima Underworld. (And we'd walk 5 miles in the snow too), and we loved it.
But we played them still. All of them. The worst to the best. From Chiller, to The Farmers Daughter, to POSTAL 1. In fact, I am no less better for playing any game, I ever have played. Even Postal. That's a hard point to prove, but I stand by this conviction, and could write a TLDR thesis on why. And that's a lot of games to count, I've played. I have loved each experience, good or bad. I wouldn't trade anything for the games in my life. Gothic, The Witcher 1, Rambo NES, Pitfall Atari, horrible Arcade and indi games. Loved it all. And thanks for all the fish.
Sometimes the issue lies between the keyboard and the chair.
Why are you stalking me, perv?
This usually happens when they can't refute what the person said, so they go after personal attacks.
btw the game isn't out yet, so a bit early to say its a success although the premium sales are encouraging.
A lot of people keep bringing up CP on release when talking about trash games like Starfield, Veilguard and Avowed among others. There is a key difference: CP was a good game buried underneath the release issues, those 3 I mentioned above are trash games with less issues on release and will be trash forever and always.
