Avowed
For people that actually like the game
Just wanna chat about how yall are enjoying the game so far. Plenty of other posts hatin on it and tbh I think they're almost all entirely baseless. I just cleared 4/5 of the first bounties and got the unique fire dagger. ngl the thing shreds. going for an assassin mage build

I'm really enjoying it as well. Great game.

playing on game pass - a few hours in and enjoying it so far. Level design is interesting and world is fun to explore. The combat isn't as horrible as I was expecting from the reviews (though it might get fatiguing later). I recommend it - especially if you liked Kingdoms of Amalur, Dark Messiah, or Outer Worlds. Graphics are way better when playing the game than watching vids. Nothing to dislike so far.

Pay an extra $24.99 to upgrade the game to the advanced access edition.

i feel like the combat is fun and intoxicating tbh. actual gameplay > videos all day. the graphics are amazing and im a fan of the style in a game like this
Games fun but if they want the game to last they're going to have to add mod support.

totally agree. mod support with a creator tool in this game would be perfect
Currently using dual daggers. Found a ring that inflicts poison damage anytime you land a critical.

I'm using Pistol/Grimoire as my main and an Arquebus as my secondary.
I'm liking it a lot so far. Really pretty world. I'm playing on the hardest mode and yeah, it's really pretty damn hard (I'm probably bad too lol)
I have only played the first section so far. I'm mostly having a good time. I'm on xbox/pc so some things may not apply.

My plus and minuses are as follows:
Plus:
Story. It's keeping me interested and I want to know what's going on.
Environments. I like a lush fantasy world over grimdark, so this is putting me in the right mood.
Level design. The guided path keeps me focused in ways that open world games struggle with.
Character design. So far it's been good. While the blue furry is not my fave, I can appreciate it for what it is.

Minuses:
Buggy. I have to reboot the computer to restart the game because it doesn't shut down fully. I'm also falling outside the map, and the game autosaves there, which means I can't trust the autosaves.
Movement/Combat. It feels more janky than smooth too often. If I hadn't been running on easy it would have annoyed me a lot.
Character customization. The lack of option for eyebrows and default facial expression and ears put a lot of constraints on the vibe of the character. The face mushroom thing kind of annoys me as well and I would have preferred an option to have it not be important for the story, or an option to shift the godlike onto a companion. Now you either have mushrooms in the face or the story doesn't make sense.

For now my overall impression is that I'm having a fun time though.
