Yeah the mostly positive is fishy to me.
Also you don't need validation to like a game, same thing if you dislike it. Play it if you want or skip it if you don't.
KOTOR 2 was made by Obsidian and does not allow you to kill non hostile NPC's
Last I checked RPGs have progressed a lot since that time.
Essentially you are admitting that Avowed has made no advancements in terms of AI/RPG mechanics. lol
So KOTOR 2 isn't a masterpiece anymore, you would say? It's story and writing don't hold up? KOTOR 2.. to your mind, is no longer playable? Because games have moved past that?
Or, rather, did you miss the entire point that video games can still be good despite their flaws
"A fool and his money are easily parted."
By the way, KOTOR 2 came out after the original Fallout games, which had the ability to do genocide runs. Skyrim, which seems to be a game that you love, came out after new vegas, which also had the ability to do a genocide run. So why did you waste your money on skyrim? Why did you waste your money on Fallout 3 and 4? They've got essential NPC's out the wazoo. So does Oblivion. And Starfield, which you have 200 hours in

Seems pretty low. Maybe Suicide Squad levels low.
