Developers have invested their names, reputations and several years of hard work into this product. Look, I don´t know these people, but at least I know that they are people.

I´m not asking you to buy or support a game that you don´t want. Clearly, even the intended audience isn´t interested in this game. But please, think about how the developers already feel before you add salt to their wounds. They might put up a brave face and seem invulnerable so you go on with more savage mockery, but they are people of flesh and blood.

To the developers I want to say stay strong.

Trust that the Steam forums have absolutely no effect on anyone's job. The "people" that post nonsense here are insignificant on the best of days.

I think these guys are honestly safe with The Outer Worlds on the horizon. They don't invest crazy money and they are mostly building games for Gamepass now.

AC Shadows flopping probably means a takeover at Ubisoft and probably half of their 20k staff getting the boot though/

theyre selling a product, and it doesnt meet the demands so the game is flopping and you pointing it at us? bro do a research marketing and they should listen to what gamers want because we simply wanted to fckin play games

I think OW2 will be the final nail in Obsidian's coffin.

I wanted more than anything else in the world for this game to actually succeed. I wanted to have this one FPS RPG with Obsidian's signature storytelling.

But this game is even worse than the game they made back when they were on the brink of going bankrupt and I'm fine with this studio closing down.

I wish and it's a responsibility for Microsoft to move these people to other studios, but for the studio itself, I don't think they are even the same people who made Outer Worlds let alone FNG and PoE1 and older Fallout games.

The game just launched today and people are allready fighting over if it succeded or failed, just chill for at least 2 weeks.

Look man the best purchase I ever did was buying OW late at night and then realizing it was outer wilds on insall but instead of refunding I play Wilds for so many hours.

They give Outer worlds out on the pass and It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bland "haha look at the fallout humor hahaha when i can i see my character"

If the game fails I will lose no sleep at all. They want to shove their real world social politics in a game and ♥♥♥♥ on other people? Go right ahead but I won't play it and will just avoid future games they work on.
