The game is not "woke" at all
Having played 3 hours so far, the game is not work at all.
There is no gay sex, there are no trans characters,etc...

You can set Male, Female or They when you create your character, that is it. You also pick your Pronoun in Baldurs gate 3 to... so stop it with the nonsense. The game is great so far.

Set your character to Male or female if you want and move on, done.

BG3 was a great RPG but ofc was totally woke - you don't get woker than today's WotC staff.

BG3 didn't force anything on you though. That is the key difference between that game and Veilguard for example. it offers players the freedom to make choices that align with their preferences, whether those choices are inclusive, neutral, or even outright hostile.

Just ignore the "Is this game woke?" posts. Those are just there to farm Jesters or posted by people who prefer playing keyboard warrior instead of games. Enjoy the game!

the issue is the spam of it, every game, every post, every forum, never ending 'iT wOkE!!' spam from the same people. Even if it is just to farm badges it drowns out all conversations about the game, let alone any valid criticism of it

Probably the backlash over one of the developers following crude comments "crusty white dudes" or him foolishly stating that black artists would have his priority. I think it created a lot of backlash, deservedly so, but I have no idea whether the game forces DEI on to you or not. Care to enlighten us?

I think people are just fed up with it being forced down their throats and are wary after veilguard debacle

any game that makes you pick by body types instead of sex is woke, especially by reviews saying you can only make ugly characters.

don't worry, this trend is dying, hopefully dog sh1t companies like ubish1t will learn their lesson after their DOA new assassins creed

its not, and it never has been. Its the 'anti-woke' cult which is the ones spamming EVERYWHERE and forcing their views on others, having a option to pick your gender in a RPG is not forcing a thing, spaming page after page after page after page with 'WoKe GaMe!!' is
