Seems like everyone is bummed. I know I am. I almost got premium but it felt off to me that they weren't doing much marketing. Kotor II was one of my favorite games back in the day. It was dark and mysterious so I thought this would be like that. I'll probably still get it eventually but we'll see. One thing he brought up is that it was originally going to be a multiplayer game and that's why it probably looks and feels the way it does.

Wilds looks like blurry ♥♥♥♥. Not sure I want to support that practice either of releasing horribly optimised games and telling people to upscale and use frame gen for basic performance. I think World looks better and its from 2018.

World doesn't look better to me. There are so many improvements made to Wilds. Sorry you can't get it to run but it is worth noting the Beta is an earlier build than the benchmark

So You tube "con"tent creators do that... Be it postive or negative(this is pretty clear). My question is why have these people let what they might or not like be decided by a random person making content for money(cause that is what they're doing, nothing more)decide for them?

Because game devs don't have enough time to make demos anymore

It's funny because someone gave you clown award while you're right. It is a doomer's talk but you are absolutely correct. We're already too deep in that ♥♥♥♥ to change anything. Gamers already voted with their wallets, we lost.

Exactly, instead of getting frustrated, i just gave in and realized hey...i get to play 5 days earlier, im off work, why not. Treat myself instead of trying to fight the machine that cant be taken down.

Me buying 5 days early is something i'd never do a few years back, but i see where this has gone, there is not chance, too many gamers has voted with their wallets already.

Im gonna see if i can enjoy this game, if not, its ok, its my hobby, not my religion.

Well there are demos and on Steam there is the 2 hour refund policy(which in a number of cases is more generous then the a demo).... So again why are you in this case, linked a You tube creator, while stating everyone is "bummed"? So infested in a You tube creator that you would even post a link to their video and also state "everyone" in your OP? My view is try for yourself and make your mind up for yourself and in the terms of Steam you have a refund period to do so.

Minor "victories" lets says were made for instance with Battle Front 2 and Shadow of War, but they learnt that more division within gaming was needed, so we wouldnt even focus on those things. but focus on some "culture" elements to distract the sadly simple minded.

It was clear when the art director had his meltdown. The issue is not that he hated on elon for no reason, the issue here is that he got hired in the first place and that he felt confident enough about his opinion to share it on social media knowing everybody will connect it to the company.

Just in case this wasn't clear: It means that a either an overwhelmingly amount of people inside the studio agree with his take or that there are a ♥♥♥♥ ton of yes sayers so nobody ever says anything when they make ♥♥♥♥ mechanics or similar.

Yeah for sure. I think most people don't like Elon. Not sure why some game devs are so partisan with their politics. Just make your game and be quiet please.

As a game dev, I don't like Elon. It has nothing to do with his politics. I just never liked Elon.

I'll play both.

I'm gonna play this just because i love their other games and i'll make my own mind up.

In this era when its cool to hate on game companies and all the steam snowflakes cry woke every time they see a colour with a bit too much blue mixed in to the reds its impossible to get an opinion from others that isn't biased in some way. I literally couldn't care less about these American's stupid political bickering over every damned thing. Will play and see for myself if the game is a fund game or not and refund if its clearly garbage before 2 hours. If i enjoy it beyond that and i end up hating it later or getting bored then it can just sit with other games i never finished.

Wilds looks fun but performance is still not great even in the last Beta so i'm not super hopeful that will be turned around in time for launch at this stage.

yeah but I still held onto hope. Most of the games I'm getting lately are from east asia now. And now we're getting ps5 exclusives like Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin. I probably won't have time to try this game anyway.

The costume design in Avoid ranges from meh to horrendous. That is one thing I can say without even playing. Failguard is worse though. Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin have amazing costume design.
