Luke literally goes into the game and shows his corrupted save files in his review. That's not trying to be negative because he doesn't have "inner peace" or whatever. If a game is that buggy for him, why SHOULD he like it?
It's almost like some new type of mental illness forming. These days people call a game "absolute trash" due to 3 seconds shown on a trailer 2 years before the game even comes out. It's INSANE behavior.
IGN: "encountered almost no glitches or technical issues worth mentioning ... That’s all but unprecedented for this genre, and an extremely welcome surprise."
Digital Foundry: "And while the experience was largely bug free for me, I did encounter a couple crashes on my Xbox."
I am sure if you scout Youtube for issues, you can find them.
It´s really normal with big RPGs like Avowed, and btw. exactly what Carrie was refering to.
My impression going by the available info is that the game is rather surprisingly polished.
Most reviews say it runs well to and doesn't have a ton of bugs. This is the only guy complaining about bugs n crashes.
People like many games that are even more buggy?
Complaining a game has bugs is like complaining your burger came with a couple of burnt French fries. I mean duh? This happens and comes with the territory, especially if they used natural potatoes instead of the deep frozen ones. Just don't eat those, eat the rest of the 134 French fries and enjoy the otherwise tasty sandwich. Besides those bugs are already being fixed by updates, so there's also that.
And I saw 5 reviews, they mentioned occasional crashed but none of them mentioned the saves problem, only Luke, so it could be specific to Luke.
And guys like you are why devs continue to ship games that are buggy and poorly optimized because you reward and defend their incomplete products regardless.
He said "largely bug free ... a couple of crashes on Xbox". And the other quote was even more positive.
I didn´t claim the game had zero issues, which would be silly for any game, especially in this genre.
So I had no reason to cherry pick and cut the part where he mentioned the crashes.
Like I said, the majority of info seems positive about the tech side, thus I am optimistic about it.
Yeah nah... this guy is seriously weird.
Firstly he thrives on negativity.
Second.... something isn't right with the dude. Pretty easy to see that too... but if you like him and find him tolerable then good luck to you.
