Avowed
PLEASE play Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2 before playing Avowed.
I know they said u dont need to but as with all trilogy its IMPERATIVE that you do. I know its hard to read all that, but just take your time, it will take you about a month to complete them both...MINIMUM. It will help you increase your literacy skills a lot too! So when playing PoE just know its a long term commitment but essential to the world of Eora and Avowed.

When the witcher 3 came out they said the same thing, and turned out you very well DID need to play the other 2 games to full understand the politics, the world, the people, etc. So at first i did what they said and played TW3 first and didnt hink anything of it once i beat the game. Then i joined the PC world, and played TW1 and 2 and said to myself "WOW So thats why so and so did this or said that! I wish i had played these first!!!"

You guys have almost a month to this day to get it done, I bought PoE 1&2 last year when I heard this game was connected to those and that they all were part of the same world and i thought back to Witcher 3. I beat PoE 1 once and Imported my character/choices to PoE2 and im playing PoE2 now with my character from PoE1 (you import save like Mass Effect).
I also created a new character on PoE1 just to get a refresher to everything since its been so long.

I'll tell you ppl right now. When Onimusha comes out for Capcom which is a japanse company known NOT to spread false rumors, all you action games will be dead

Have you ever ever noticed that Asian game devs have no type of this community problems?

Actions always speak louder than words and Capcom, despite them having some titles being trashed, was always at the forefront of gaming.

Not to mention other devs like who created Stellar Blade and what not keeping their mouths shut until their games are ready for public view.

POE 1 (definitive edition i think) was free on EGS for the free games thing 2 or so 3 years ago, I played it, it was great. Would recommend.

on a difficulty scale I would rate Tyranny on the Extreme compared to PoE 1 and 2...That game is like Planescape Torment just more modern, and as a liiiiiiiiiiitle bit of Voice Acting, but no where near as much in PoE 1 and 2

Doesn't Skyrim get boring after awhile?

There is no point in playing old games to play avowed because avowed was made with diferent intentions than the previous one.

Same happens to dragón age the veilguard.

This is when you need to install mods to have sex with dragons

nah.. not really. spend about 2,300 hours original Skyrim

Skyrim special edition only 264 hours, at least I got that one for free

I've played both but Avowed is untouchable for me.
I can't support discriminatory practices in hiring based on race.

Nope.

Damn and I thought playing 300 hours with mods meant I was addicted. You've spent literally RL months in that game. I feel better about my gaming habits now.

You again...

man, I've got to finish Tyranny. I loved the premise... but I just can't capture the enthusiasm I had when I was younger. I assume that the games are better but that I am worse.

[To do list - finish Tyranny.]
