Josh Sawyer is still be at Obsidian. He's moved into more of a consulting role rather than directing.
Chris Avellone: did some character and scenario design, but nowhere near as much as people tend to credit him for (in his own words.) Left Obsidian after the troubled Pillars of Eternity 1 development. He ended up mired in a controversy when he was falsely accused of sexual misconduct and a lot of studios stopped working with him as a contractor. He's been a smaller player even after the dust settled.
Eric Fenstermaker: Writer, Area Designer: has left Obsidian but currently no one knows where he's working. May be retired.
Travis Stout: Writer, Area Designer. Left during the Stick of Truth development. Has written for State of Decay 1 and lately has been at Ubisoft, writing for For Honor and AC: Unity + Syndicate
Joe Sanabria: Lead Artist. Was laid of in 2011. Works as a freelance artist.
Scott Everts: World Building Lead. Still there. Last credit was working on Outer Worlds, but not as lead. Started out working on the original Fallouts at Interplay before moving to Obsidian.
Mark Bremerkamp: Lead Animator. Retired after POE1 to spend more time with his family.
Charlie Staples: Area Design Lead, Lead Level Designer. Still there. Worked on Stick of Truth and was Design Director on Outer Worlds.
Frank Kowalkowski: Lead Programmer. Now works at Blizzard on WoW expansions.
Posts like this were common leading up to the release of Baldurs Gate 3 I remember people like you posting crap just like this saying it had already sold all it was going to sell during Early Access and would be DoA.
This is a gross exaggeration. He banned DEI hiring and education practices and it's worded so poorly it's not even realistically enforceable and probably will end up tied in court for years.
DEI in media's likely to continue for a while as well since it's literally protected by the First Amendment and projects already mid development are not all going to pivot.
His administration is also currently such a disorganized mess still hiring people that none of these orders can likely be properly executed for months,
or
was it some kind of prank..??
couldn't find any information about it ._.
''literally gambling problems''
I don't think people realize those tags are put there by regular people, not the devs. If enough people use that tag, it goes on the list.
