One Last Drink quest still bugged after patch

Hi, minor spoilers for a quest.

As the title suggests, the quest "One Last Drink" is still bugged for me and cannot be completed in a certain way.
Despite me fulfilling all the prerequisites to swap the drinks around with the captain, finding his journal and the poison, bringing the female crew-mate back with a speech check saying i will help her and even having dialogue after they are poisoned that states I knew it was going to happen, I still cannot swap the drinks around under any circumstances.
I sent a bug report before this patch and it is still not fixed.

I just completed this quest and you don't have to swap any drinks. You get the drinks from the bartender and give them to the Captain when he asks. Then there is the dialog, the outcome and it's over, quest finished. You're doing something wrong.

I think he’s saying the swapping is the thing that is bugged, not the quest as a whole

Yeah pretty much.
I can complete the quest just fine, but there is an alternate way to complete where if you find certain items and talk with the female crewmate who doesnt wanna come to the party, you can arrange it so you can swap the drinks to poison the captain and not the others.
But it is currently bugged and I cannot do this.
I even sent a report to the devs who actively told me this was a known bug and they were working on fixing it, but I figured it would be fixed in this patch.
Sadly, it is not.

Honestly I’ll just pause the game and just wait till they fix it. Like they did with the yellow bands quest, which took like maybe 2 or 3 weeks? Such a buster, I was enjoying this game again too

Okay, revisiting to update that, after the new update for the game, it is STILL bugged

Just gonna go play Oblivion Remaster and wait again to see if this game can actually fix this bug (and other bugs I have yet to encounter, which I guess will be another month of waiting, again)
