How does one make Inquistitor Lödwyn your ex? (spoilers)

Ive played the game all the way through once and was her ex in it. But... I cant figure out what I did the first time to cause that storyline to play through. I am dang confused. The wiki says nothing and is useless so I figured I'd poke the brains of steam users.

You're given a dialogue option early on that dictates it.

I don't think so. My first playthrough was not Augur and I'm pretty sure I had the option.

Two dialogue options early on when speaking to the ambassador. Lodwyn gives the ambassador a heads up about expecting an important guest and, when he realizes it's you, he asks what your relationship is with her.

Two of the options are:

You were her lover (prior to her death)

You were/are her lover (after her death).

Yea but i dont get those options a friend of mine said it has to do with stats but no specifics because they dont know and it seems like no one knows.

weird being whats essentially a skeleton's lover. I mean how does that work lol?

Only certain backgrounds have the option. I know for certain court augar and war hero have those dialogue options.

Almost certain it's not stat related, what lore background did you choose?
Also, what build are you doing, warrior, rogue, mage, etc?

i mean loddy being only into girls tracks but.... i also tried auger with a different fem build and had no such option
