I was like, "oh man this is dark, this is serious, this is going to be a Gothic story of betrayal and the evil within us" but no... oh no, no no no no... hell no, not in this day and time sunny oh no, nope... we are getting yet another colorful happy go lucky game, completed with happy skeletons and an overwhelming amount of the wonderful color magenta and purple everywhere...

No darkness, no gray colors, no Gothic stories... those days are long gone...

To be fair, Dread Delusion is also super colorful due to its aesthetic.

Early trailers often lie about games. Cyberpunk's first ones were outright lies. Dragon Age 2's was hilariously bad. Just for a couple examples.

Someone mentioned Tainted Grail The Fall of Avalon the other day. That one looks more dark fantasy and has positive reviews even if it's in early access.

Yeah and I actually highly recommend Tainted Grail Conquest if you like deckbuilders and RPGs. It'll give you an idea of the setting.

Yea I got it because of that someone. Games great. Been playing like 9hrs. Feels like a middle of oblivion/skyrim. Should be on sale and great game for 25$. Definitely recommend.
