30k is good for an indie game .. it is super bad for others like Bioware and EA.
Avowed is more like Unknown 9, Forspoken, Dustborn .. it has no history.
So no, its not going to be veilguard 2.0 .. they will be lucky if they beat Concord.
Especially after everything thats going on in Obsidian and the open racisms against gamers and white people.
Its like Disney's Star Wars .. female creator said she likes to men uncomfortable.
Avowed people also say they want to make gamers angry and offend them with the game ..
If we are generous, you have 2% of modern audience in the world population (in modern countries only) and most of them hate gamers, games and wont play it, support it etc ..
I studied this in school in 2000 .. you make product for the majority of market.
No one ever who made the product for the 1% of world population succeeded. Unless that product was of superior quality and cost like 5000 EUR.
gonan say that you just lying here cause you don't seem t orealize this is a spinoff series of a relatively popular series known as pillars of eternity. those were more of a diablo inspired game, while this one is more elder scrolls, but bout the same.
so it doesn't need to reach the extreme heights of a dragon age game to be deemd successful, though it is a lesser known property.
Also literally its not gonna be veilguard cause it has non of the elements of veilguard aside for pronouns in character creation. Hell one of your companion characters is a tiny furry hobbit mage thing that is in a committed relationship, with a dude.
