Sweet Baby Inc Touch?? Avowed??
Why is Avowed following the Narrative of Trans and Pronouns from Real life.... As a player of all Bethesda/ Obsidian Games since Fallout 1 on Mobile/ PC 2D graphics until Today, I cannot Support a game that is catering for this Gender Identity policy. Sorry That's not what the world needs added into our games. Real life politics should never be included in games unless it is a Satire portrayal of events. For that reason, I'm out.

Avowed Was never gonna measure up anyways..HARD PASS.
Look how mediocre Obsidian has been since NewVegas.
It's like they never comprehended what made us all love FallOut NV.

Even if the company SBI haven't touched it the mentality that is rife in the industry at large obviously has.

There are hundreds of companies like Sweet Baby in the industry now.. And people that follow the cult like ideology.. Its everywhere infested now.

They tried in both outer world and pillar. But even in their peak obsidian is always weaker in their world building and design and also creating interesting boss fight. So just from there straight away I expect this game to be mediocre at best. Im still willing to buy it despite the rainbow warning until the art director has these massive mental breakdown.

The funny thing is it's not even trans people, surely they'd just want to pick male or female, depending on how they want represent themselves.

They/them pronouns are only for non binary people, a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of players.

If they just gave the option to switch them off it would alleviate so much of the anger.

Personally, pronouns aren't a huge deal for me, I'd rather they weren't there but it's fairly easy to look past, unless the game and story is then filled with gender ideology (which pronouns are usually a signal for).

But the studio and community managers condoning racism and sexism instantly turns me non-buy-nary.

This game didn't need SBI when they have Avowed Art Director Matt Hanson behind the wheel talking about removing white people from the gaming industry. No need for consultants to do that when you can do it internally.

I think people would feel a sense of closing if they at least made some statement regarding Hansen's discrimination. Pronouns and such are at least easier to overlook; did that with Elden Ring. But I can't overlook this person who is so openly discriminatory and then also hand them money for a game. Just can't do it.

If they just made a Gay or dedicated LGBTQ+ game instead of taking all our beloved games from history and turning them gay that would be different BUT NO. THEY HAVE TO TAKE OUR BELOVED GAMES FROM THE PAST WHEN THERE IS ALREADY 1.2.3.4. VERSIONS OF A GAME AND MAKE THE 5TH ONE GAY. WTF IS UP WITH THAT. IF YOU WANT A GAY GAME... MAKE A GAY GAME... 28 years of gaming and I have never seen the industry so corrupted and enfatuated with making games this year gay. Like Halo... its now a girl who is thick build... HALO IS A MAN. MASTERCHIEF IS A MAN. YOU CAN'T take the 200TH HALO and MAKE IT GAY. You just loose you're whole playerbase. 18 years of players gone.

They've been trying to make their own games, but they always flop.

Besides, their goal isn't to be creative in their own space and live happily alongside everyone else, the aim is indoctrinate everyone else or push out whoever isn't in lock step with their ideology, and they don't care how many popular franchises they destroy along the way.
