What a shame

Damn they had the balls to go back to Morrowind style resource management, that's actually cool.

Interesting, didn't know Morrowind didn't have mana regen. Guess its magic isn't as good as people like to praise it for then.

Anyway, Subsidian made a progress with magic resources from POE1 to POE2, where spell slots recovered between fights in the latter. And this seems like a step back again.
There are skills and items that enable regeneration for both health and mana, you just have to slot them in. Otherwise you'll be using food and potions to regenerate.

Probably because it hasn't even "officially" released. That and the interest level might not be that high. Give it a few weeks or months and it might be there.

I know there is a top tier spell that regenerates mana, seal something something, but it's just such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ decision.
There's a nice accessory you can get from the Brothel that will let you regen essence when near a companion.
you're supposed to eat food to top off health/essence between fights, and ingredients are plentiful enough that essence management hasn't been an issue for me even with a magic-heavy build.

Yeah, that's lame. I despise the very idea of such a crippled mage imposter.

Yeah, this interests me. It adds more decisions for the player to make.
heal don't autorecover too. there is food and potion for this.

Oh noooooo you actually have to manage your resources and be mindful of how many potions you chug during combat. How terriblllllllllllle.

This, like any other RPG out there, gives you 3000 different ways to recover your mana/health. Just play it a little and you'll find em
