I've only just started this game and it is AMAZING, I know nobody is going to read this but I guess I'll just do it for the statistics anyways XD

- Graphics are beautiful, maybe not the best but the world design is breathtaking, some vistas are absolutely amazing
- gameplay is great with some engaging loots to find and upgrades that encourage exploration, witch feels rewarding and makes you discover some amazingly crafted environments and stories !
- I'm at 37h at this point and I feel like I only just scratched the surface of this game.

All in all I hardly recomand for any enjoyers of games like Skyrim, the WItcher, etc.

Avowed is an imperfect but very fun game. It does not have the same level of freedom you'd get in games like Elder Scrolls or Fallout, but it still mostly hits the mark despite this.

-Exploration is very fun and rewarding, even if most of the treasure chests are just crafting materials
-Wizard combat is a blast and I find myself chanting the little incantations when doing menial chores around my home
-Lots and lots of unique items to play around with
-You can reset your skills and stats at any time for a very low amount of gold
-Moment-to-moment gameplay feels good

-Most dialogue choices don't really matter, and multiple "options" often lead to the same response from the NPC you're talking to
-Marius. He got interesting in Act 4 but good grief that's a long way into the game
-The characters cannot agree on how to pronounce "envoy"
-You can't really 100% the game on a single character without a large amount of back-tracking
-Spoilers for the last boss: If you have 15 points allocated in certain stats, you can gaslight the last boss into dying on the spot. Kinda funny when other games do it, but for some reason this made me mad in the moment lol

Overall, fun game, and I do not regret the time I spent playing it. I don't see myself playing again to get 100% completion.

I haven't completed the game yet but just the first couple of areas in this game have me wowed beyond belief. It's been a really, really long time since I've played an RPG as engaging as this one. The story, the dialogue, the characters, and the roleplaying opportunities are all some of the best I've seen in recent years, rivaling the all-time greats of the genre like New Vegas and Dragon Age: Origins and going WAY beyond a lot of modern fare. It's honestly such a gem for RPG fans.

There's a fair amount of flaws, but nothing that I think is major enough to warrant mentioning. However, keep in mind this game is not like Skyrim. It wasn't supposed to be, though I guess it was kinda inevitable that the comparisons would be made. It's much, MUCH closer to more classic style games like Pillars of Eternity (obviously) or even Baldur's Gate 3 rather than big open world action RPGs like Skyrim. If that appeals to you, then you'll probably really like this game.

Plus, it has Shark Garrus in it <3
