If you're going for 100%, what achievements should you have before you head into the final room?

I'm about to head into the final room and am still missing the following:


"It's all been changed..."
Defeated old man Stauf.

"Solved it!"
Solved all puzzles.

"Everyone for himself... or herself."
Solved all puzzles without using the auto-solve.

"And filled it with his toys..."
Picked up all the photographs of Stauf and his guests.

"I remain your host, Henry Stauf"
Listened to all Stauf's records.

"You can't have him!"
Took out 7 of Stauf's souls in the final battle using one of your own.



I assume the photographs and records ones should be completed before heading into the final room?

Just finished the game - looks like you do need to get the records and the photographs before you enter the final room. I'm surprised I somehow missed one of each - I felt like I was super thorough... hrm.

Anyone know if it's possible to download some else's save for this? Would like to 100% the game and don't necessarily want to replay it all (although I do *some day*, just not right away).

Interestingly enough, you *should* be able to get back 'out' of the Ritual Room if you quit out of the game before finishing the final game, but if you actually beat it, then you're completely out of luck, yes.

As for a save-file, I don't have one right now, but I could theoretically have something, since I need to replay through it again myself both for "You can't have him!" and the roach one.

Thanks for the reply! If you can easily share the save file right near the end of the game that would be great.

I'm racking my brain trying to think about where I missed both a photograph (easier to miss) and a record (hard to miss?)
