it does have moments that can give you a spine chill in the sense of a voice going from normal to really low and scary for a couple of words but because its always so unexpected, and me it just give me a funny spooky feeling for a second and that just hooks me more into the game :D
I played the exercist VR and refunded it in 10 minutes.
I think the so called scare factor is just related to the spooky type atmosphere with sounds of thunder in the background with the occasional not so lout scream or ghostly voice that does not scare at all.
Yes exposure is the key, desensitize your self over time.
When i first got into VR, i could barely play those wave shooters where things are running at you screaming like those Serious Sam bomb guys. Now it barely effects me.
I used to hear something coming at me from behind and i just said "NOPE" took off the headset and ALT + F4 the game to close it instead of turning around to take care of it.
Not the case anymore.
Still that super demonic stuff really freaks me out though, i don't think i will ever desensitize my self of that.
Jump scare games are also a big no no and will always be for me.
Hope you can enjoy it, and thanks for the points.
