Another hotfix comes out and yet the hetero bug still hasnt been fixed, kind of funny sad aint it?
Because you JUST KNOW that if it were a "gay bug" instead these develpers would RUSH to fix this "critical error" in under 5 days or something.
Im not angry at them, I just find it funny:2019smile:

This.

That is an option until they fix the bug. Until then to all those who are waiting, patience.
dude out of 30 people they have a lesbian couple. there is no bug. quit trying to make something out of nothing.

Oh gods. Give me patience.

Last point.

Right. It's not a bug. It's a known issue. Better?

1. Known problems

[ver 0.2] 3/28 00:00 (UTC)

◆ Presets saved before Early Access may not appear intermittently, although they are still in the Documents folder.

◆ Some objects may intermittently disappear when resetting the property to its default state.

◆ In certain situations, characters may not be able to perform actions.
→ This may occur under the following conditions.
- (Resolved) when crafting furniture on the furniture workbench.
※ Note that this problem has been fixed in the patch (build version: 20250414.2252.W).
- When not detained by the police
- When Zoi is stopped on an empty lot.
→ If this happens, using Emergency Rescue may not solve the problem. Please restart the game and try again.

◆ After saving while driving, resuming the game may prevent driving or exiting the vehicle, or cause the vehicle to disappear.
→ In this case, please use the Emergency Rescue function.

◆ It is not possible to have same-sex relationships with other Zois in the city.

Gonna cry?
I don't think it was ever a "bug", they just said that to get everyone to shut up about it.

This.

Nobody believes that this is a bug any more. The mechanics of all straight npc is implemented from the beginning. I guess they thought that leaving the choice of sexual attraction when creating the character was enough. But of course, the gameplay is not the same.

Realising that most of the target audience in games like the Sims 4 are gays and women, they have to implement it from the beginning. They have also seen that the opponents of these mechanics are political and religious movements from the most zealot and ultramontane part of the West. And they are not going to buy the game.

I guess since it's a new mechanic, and it needs to be tested and polished it will come out with the major patch in May. The fact that they disguise it as a bug is indicative that they will fix it. Patience.
Exactly ^
They've been trying to have their cake and eat it too by including gays as an option while at the same time making all NPC's straight to avoid scaring off conservative players. By doing this they've managed to piss off both the "wokes" and the conservatives so now they're trying to figure out how to navigate this mess.

I guess they will have to make a decision sooner or later. And because in the end it's a sales issue and religious fundamentalists don't usually play these games, they'll end up doing something like the sims.

Or not. Who knows. They are making something highly configurable from the start. Anyway, that they have their own vision of what a sims style life simulator should be like is refreshing.

Ah here we go again. LGBTQXYZ cultists demanding something, again. Trying to be the victim so hard, again. Trying to normalize something which isn't normal, again.

0.000001% of the player base, nobody cares. Get a life.

for me it is not a critical error, everyone has different priorities.
they either have other priorities. or the bug takes longer to fix and test.

why complain with every update that what you want is not included.
They announced it as a bug and said they would fix it. then they will publish it when it is ready. Patience is a virtue..

They would just leave all the NPCs bisexual. There would be freedom, no matter who you play, you can date any gender you like, that's all. To be honest, it annoys me too. Heterosexuals if you can't understand this situation, imagine that the whole city is gay and you can't build a relationship, that's all. You would also have resentment about this.

What everyone seems to be forgetting is that from the player's perspective, it literally doesn't matter. You can easily build gay relationships with NPCs even if they do show as straight. My zoi has had romantic interactions succeed way more often than not, and easily maxed out romantic relationship levels.

I would love to see the source on that claim...

A game which is for everyone is a game that is for no one.

How did you do it? The fact of the matter is that if you create a homosexual character, the NPCs will deny him romance because they are heterosexuals. And so are absolutely all the NPCs in the city.

You think too highly of yourself. The game is also not created exclusively for you. It's for everyone, which means it should have freedom of choice.

Look for it if you are interested. If not, don't look for it.
