Just figured out how to start careers lol

Looked at the smartphone interface a thousand times and somehow never noticed the career tabs. lol

So naturally my womanizer Zoi is now beginning his life as a crimelord.

But I was wondering some things.

Alot of them have 4/4 or 1/1 with a person image next to it. One would presume that means job openings, yet I am still able to apply for and take those jobs. So I guess that does not mean job openings? What DOES that mean?

Also I saw you can be Navy or Criminal as a career but was a bit surprised to see you can't be a cop or go into local politics. Do I have to look elsewhere for those options or are they just not in the game yet?

Also, do any of the jobs allow "Work From Home" options and if so, how?

Mostly been making money though selling art, busking, and money cheat when needed so i'm eager to finally start making legit money....as a crimelord. Amongst other options.

Maybe I better make the Wife a lawyer instead of reporter...lol

I haven't gotten to the careers yet, for some reason my adult zoi can't go to college. I guess you have to start them as children and work your way up? What I've noticed with the regular job, you eventually work your way up the career ladder. I started as entry position and am now the manager of the shop, without having to apply for the manager role. So as you gain work experience, and if you continue to fulfill all the job "missions" you'll eventually get to the next position. So, I guess if you can still apply, maybe the game just boots someone from that position so you now have it? I don't know.

Considering the police station has an entire made out interior. I assume it will become one of the interactive jobs in the future.

Do you have to micromanage careers for each individual member of the family or can they advance without me having to babysit?

honestly, no idea. I personally micromanage simply because I know the state of this game would have him doing complete random stuff when the list of things the zoi needs to do isn't complete yet. So, if you're trying to get them into a better position quickly, then that's your best bet.

There's a little tab on the bar you hover over (or click) to see their hygeine and all that stuff to turn off their automated actions and behavior. I think doing this when they go to work and you have multiple people in your family going to work is the best way to do it. Normally, I'll just get the guy who is at work and fill his actions to complete his schedule then I'll go to someone else in the family for a bit and do things. But I was playing yesterday I think and I found out you can turn off their automated behavior so that would work really well in situations like this I believe.

You can become a criminal by hacking into ATMs and stealing money that way, but unfortunately you can't actually intimidate people or blackmail them for money. Such as finding out their secrets then asking them for money or else. You can be violent and extort cash from people, but obviously any of these illegal acts could get you jailed.

Both cities have different careers . The ones that are rabbit holes , while they are at work you can click a small suitcase by their little icon on the right to try and aid them to get better and get promotion , You can also do it with your children while they are at school . Choose your option and leave them to it for the day or change it as you wish
