"Is this game like this other game I like?" is not an uncommon question gamers will ask, even if they don't ask it publicly.
Asking if something is similar to what you already like is not trying to change it into something else. Saying "just let it be what it is" isn't even a relevant thing to say in this.
inZoi = Slice of life simulator.
Rimworld = War crime Colony simulator
GTA = Cash printer Third person action open world sandbox
Sims = Slice of life simulator.
I'm not sure what gave the impression that Rimworld and GTA were in any way similar to inZoi or Sims.
