InZoi is still in early access, they have planned improvements for Create-A-Zoi in May, October and December, so it is likely that they will do better in future.
Your comparing sims games from 2003-2012 to a game from 2025. The customization should be better for a game like this.
as with anything in early access, patience is key.
Regardless of the year, this game is only just getting started, and I have managed to make some great-looking characters (which did not look oriental); though the creator does take some getting used to, as some settings and sliders are not easy to find.
It's an extremely difficult and complex system, so it takes some getting used to.
For example, there are skeletons for Asians and Westerners,
so if you want to create a Western character, you'll need to choose the Western skeleton.
The skeleton you choose is very important.
Completely different characters will be created depending on the skeleton.
Extremely difficult and complex for a Bethesda RPG gamer. Try playing games with depth to them and you'll know what actual complex systems are.
The character creator is no different.
You can create a complete character with all the many clothing options possible.
Id rather have a limited palette of clothes and have all the set occasions locked, and only by visiting clothes stores will they get unlocked encouraging the player to explore but also have a sense of progression. Id love to visit a goth alternative store and browse and purchase things which will then appear in my wardrobe, or purchase via tour phone and have delivered too your plot via a parcel.
No different to appliances and furniture for build mode. Big ambitions had a really cool gameplay loop thats far superior too this.
As for the specific customisation if said characters.its a korean game if im not mistaken. Theres always going to be a slight leaning in that direction because its their environment. Give them time amd they will add more. If not mods will explode the creator anyway.
For example theres no slider for having tour sim stand on their toes for wearing different variations of high heeled shoes.
Inzoi really has copied the sims and not innovated at all.
Its just graphically pleasing with other tech added in like face capture and texture ai. Both pointless features in my view. They do nothing for gameplay and its better to google a texture and import it than using ai.
Ive held off from buying the game in the hopes that the game will change its direction into its own world rather than being a sims copy clone.
Right now sims is a better game due to many years if development. And inzoi has no pools, basements, terraforming and other such features yet.
Please dont reply to my threads if you dont have anything to add and if you have no idea on what im talking about.
There is nothing wrong with cartoony graphics. inzoi characters look souless and have the same unity face.
Thousands or players use maxis match cc which emulates the original graphics of the game.
