I think it's elevated expectations from a high-profile release in the world where the #1 high-profile game is GTA6.
Otherwise, the whole open world with cars thing of Inzoi gave some people grounds to compare it to GTA. After all, GTA Online allows you to do so much things oftentimes associated with life sims - customizing your outfits, working jobs and owning property to name a few - that in a way GTA is a life sim as well... only of a life as a criminal, but still.
Something to realize is people come to Inzoi expecting all kinds of very different things. And even Rockstar's ambition and resources would never be enough to satisfy all of them. So I can imagine more than a few will be disappointed with what they'll get in Early Access. Hell it will probably not even be superior to SIms 4, purely because of not having the benefit of a decade of updates.
