Make it multiplayer?

I would have loved to play multiplayer with my friends in this game. Graphics look so amazing. And yes, it would also be a great world for more RP streamers, especially for those of us who enjoy a more relaxing setting! Ofc, it likely won’t happen now, as the game is basically an HD The Sims game with modern AI and would require major changes to implement. Still.. it *would* have been great to have the option for both single player and multiplayer. I also get that a lot of people don’t have friends or friends who enjoy these types of games and would rather sit in an empty AI world alone for hours. That’s fine, but having multiplayer as an option wouldn’t take away from single player. It would simply give people more ways to enjoy the game. There’s a huge demand for detailed multiplayer life sims, but the best we get are V-Land, Rust, and GTA, which really aren't the vibe anymore. As for the argument that "multiplayer would ruin the game," that’s just nonsense. Multiplayer wouldn’t suddenly make single player disappear. Games like Stardew Valley and even The Sims 4 have proven that both modes can coexist just fine. The idea that the only reason people would want multiplayer is for ERP, as someone in the comments suggested, is stupid. Some just want to enjoy a sim with actual friends when gaming instead of playing solo with AI bots. And for those saying, "Just go play GTA RP" why can we not want for more then just GTA RP? Not everyone wants to run around in a crime simulator when they could be enjoying a chill multiplayer life sim with friends or meeting new people in servers. "Just be happy with what’s available." waiting a little longer for a polished multiplayer mode would have been worth it. Many games have been delayed to add features people actually want, and it’s clear that there’s a demand for this. Settling for whatever is given instead of pushing for improvements is why we keep getting half assed life sim experiences. Anyways, I still can't wait for this game to come out and stream! I also hope future games from other companies will see how much people want detailed experiences like the ones this game seems to offer, with multiplayer alongside single player modes!
