Well, it certainly can be in my opinion. The want to start the game off in Early Access so the community has a bit of say on the rest of the development process. EA has never done anything like that. Well, not until they saw inZoi was going to do it. Then they started the whole SimsLabs thing, but they should have been doing it years ago.
It's almost comical. The inZoi demo started on August 21st and EA announced the SimsLabs thing on August 22nd... 🤣
Yep. I can't wait for this game to flop, or at least for drama to start building up. It will be a fun watch for EA and The Sims 4 haters to look at inZOI like at some kind of treasure, only for complaints and inevitable drama to eventually start! Even if the game won't end up like The Sims 4, you can't tell me there will be plenty of people who buy this and find themselves super disappointed. Anyway, this will be a beautiful moment! Whatever if this comment gives me another community warning and ban on all Steam discussions - Worth it ;)
This is exactly what the 2 years of EA did for Baulders Gate. Sooooo much of it was changed based on community feedback.
