inZOI
Nvidia AI Potentially Required?
I saw a press release from Nvidia a few days ago and it mentions inZOI uses RTX AI to generate characters models, player interaction and world interaction:

So I'll ask my obvious question as someone with a Radeon graphics card, will I even be able to play inZOI at release if the game needs this to function?

The requirements are listed.

Min-

Minimum:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10/11
Processor: Intel i5 10400, AMD Ryzen 3600
Memory: 12 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 2060 (8G VRAM), AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT
DirectX: Version 12
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 60 GB available space
I see the requirements are listed, but read what Nvidia has said is in the game:
- Generative AI using Nvidia RTX to generate character models and interactions

I'd guess non-RTX hardware might run the game, but some very key features might not actually work. Dev's gone all in with Nvidia AI so I can't be the only one wondering what the game will do if you **don't** use an RTX graphics card...?

Huh, well. That IS interesting. There's a part in this article that says-

"Kjun says that the end of day adjustment feature already works "remarkably well," adding that "it’s a joy to see a Zoi grow and develop its own personality, becoming more distinct with each passing day." He does otherwise note that the AI will sometimes produce wonky results and that optimization of GPU use is still needed."

So, good question. Maybe it's just going to be part of the game code? May need to log into thier Discord and find out.

Either way, very exciting stuff 😃

Literally a HUGE game changer.
Impressive tech for sure, but not impressive if my Radeon 6950XT is left out in the cold. I appreciate that something like 90% or so of players do use Nvidia Geforce but still... the consoles use Radeon graphics too.

Hopefully the dev sees this and can clarify what exactly does happen if you can't use this Nvidia AI stuff the game has?

Okay, apparently it will be available to everyone because it's cloud based on Nvidia servers. You'll just need to be connected online to use the feature.

Maybe subscription model, like mmo 🤔

Source? As the guy above just said: Sounds like a subscription might be on the cards if it's cloud based.

ACE - Avatar Cloud Engine

"Flexible Deployment Options

Watch the video. It shows people using it with their phones.
