Please postpone the game's release for another 1–2 years.
I think that if you delay the release and work on the game a bit more, it will only benefit the project. Releasing such a potentially great game in its current state is like playing roulette, where there's a high chance of ending up with another Cyberpunk or No Man's Sky—games that disappointed players at launch but became playable only after five years of updates.

The trend of releasing unfinished games and fixing them over the years is very disappointing to me.

Even if they polished it and tuned everything up, it still means coming back to the roulette table and gambling on it being a success or a failure in a few years. Delaying it won't change anything at this point unless some part of their game they designed isn't living up to their standards.

Let's not as much as I'm tired of early access games, this is a life sim & there isn't many of them big wise but sims..
I'd rather InZoi & Paralives come out early access & tag along for the updates then deal with anymore of The Sims buggy overpriced mess that prob won't ever have a color wheel & is just gonna get more broken over time..

Having both InZoi & Paralives out may just push EA to actually care about Sims maybe even drop Sims 4 to make a proper sims game that's not a mobile game..
No, please don't. There has already been one delay, any more and we will all start worrying that the game will never come out.

OP, you do realise this will be EA, not a full release, right? The whole point is that it will not be a polished, finished product, and may not be for some time. Releasing it as planned will build trust in the player base, and allow for playtesting for further development.

I for one am not expecting a bug-free experience, nor for all features to be present or even working entirely as intended to begin with. So long as it is playable and enjoyable, that is enough for me.

Also, from Krafton's point of view, how many other life-sim games might there be a couple of years down the line? They are about to be the first Sims competitor to release, here...

Well then don't play, don't buy & wait for 1-2 years until early access is done.
The rest of us that want the game will tag along for its updates & progress.
This is an early access game. If you don't want to play it, don't buy it. Same goes for any other game.
somethings not right in the OP's head.

The developers are releasing it in Early Access. They said they want player input while completing the development.
