Colors in building

When I want to color a room it doesn't work to make the whole room in the same colors, because the room doesn't have attached walls I really don't know how to copy paste the same colors that I used. Sounds stupid, but is there a button in the menu that reminds the color that I used?

Press R to select room select tool and then select a wall.
If you change the wall pattern and color now, it applies to the whole room.
At the color picker you can press the + sign next to it to temperarily, this playsession, save the color swatch.
If you press V you are using the single select tool and you can select one item/wall to change.
