If two ZOIs have jobs that start at the same time, how do I make them both go?
Basically, my main Zoi works as a software dev. His wife, after having two children, decided to go back to work to help fulfill her life aspiration/goals, and took a job at the law firm. Both of their jobs start at the exact same time on the same days.

THE PROBLEM: Whichever Zoi I'm controlling when work-time comes, I get the pop-up that lets me tell them to go to work. BUT, for the Zoi I'm not controlling when the clock ticks over to work-time, I never get the pop-up and, thus, they don't go to work.

I've looked all around, but I can't find any way to send them to work without the pop-up. I can't tell them to use the car, jump in a taxi, catch the bus to work, or anything else. If you click on the Zoi, there's no command to go to work. If you click on the ground, there's no command to go to work. If you look at the job tab in their phone, there's no command to tell them to go to work. If you go to the Zoi's schedule and click on the work event, there's no command there to send them to work. And, ofc, the rabbit-hole jobs don't appear on the map, so you can't click on the location to tell them to go to it.

So, basically, it seems like if you have two adult Zois who have jobs that start at the exact same time, there's no way to tell them both to go to work.

For context, I usually turn their autonomy off so I can micromanage their needs-fulfillment and development. I'm not sure if having the autonomy on would make them go to work on their own without me needing to click the pop-up message, but, if so, that's a little fiddly and a weird dead end in the design. There should never be a situation where there's not a second way to do something like go to work on the chance you miss (or don't get) the pop-up.

In this case, my suggestion for an easy fix would be to add a "Go to work" option to the event in the Schedule. And/or add it to the Job app in the phone. And/or make it a context-sensitive menu option when clicking on a Zoi who is still at home when their work event is active on the schedule.

Until then, if anyone knows of a way to make this work, a menu option, or a "go to work" command I'm missing, I'd appreciate getting pointed in the right direction.

At the bottom right of the zoi profile pic is a small calendar icon. Select it to send the zoi to any event. Work in this case.
use SPACE to toggle between zois in the same family. Then use the calendar icon.

I had an similar issue with just one Zoi in my family working. He was an assistant Professor. If I was controlling my main Zoi, the other Zoi didn't go to work on his own. I literally had to switch to him and click on the go when the pop up to the event showed up on the screen.

It was kind of annoying since I thought he was automatically go to work on his own, since it would be part of his schedule.

I did that. It didn't send him to work, it only opened the calendar. On the calendar, I clicked on the event, but there's no option on any Job events to make the zoi actually go. There's only "Delete this event." There's literally nothing on the calendar to tell them to go if they miss the auto-start of the work day.

I also tried toggling the events off (the toggle switch in the upper right of the calendar), letting my zoi walk around for a minute, then toggling the events back on -- bc that worked to get my kid to go to school when they didn't get the "Go to school" popup -- but it didn't work. He's still just wandering around the house.

It does work with non-Job events (like going to the park, for instance). In fact, if you miss the beginning of a non-job event but your zoi has autonomy turned on, they'll automatically go the next time the AI makes a decision of "what to do next." Doesn't work with job events though.

I even reloaded to a save about 30 in-game minutes before they went to work and made sure everybody had autonomy turned on before work time arrived. When the time came, one zoi changed into their work clothes and walked out to the taxi and the other one did absolutely nothing. No pop-up, no command on the calendar, no option in any menu to send him. And his autonomy just had him "wander around."

Tbh, I think the issue might be twofold:
1) The code only gives the "Go To Work" popup for the currently selected zoi. Even if two zois should be getting the pop up at the same time, they don't.
2) Zois -- even ones with cars -- take the taxi to work (at least when the job is at a rabbit hole), BUT there's only one taxi. One zoi gets into the taxi to go to work, and that blocks the other zoi from traveling to work.

I appreciate the answer. If you have two adult zois in your household who are both working jobs that start at the same time on the same days and you have it working, I'd love to hear how you're making that happen. Because, in my experience so far, it doesn't seem possible.

Yeah, that was my experience as well before my zoi's wife also got a job. I had to make sure I had the working zoi selected when work time arrived.

Until I hear someone say they are having a different experience, I'm assuming it's impossible to have more than one zoi go to work if their work day starts at the same time.
If the start of an event has passed and the zoi has missed it or not gone to the event (such as work), then go to the map or schedule, change the end time of the event in progress (for example reduce office working time by an hour to end at 5 pm). Then get back. An event alarm will pop up in the left hand corner. Click Go to the event.

I had that too with going to school. I'd let the "Smart Zoi" take over, and eventually it went to school. I don't know what was wrong, but personally I don't care if the are on time with their schedule, I just let the Zoi sort it out. I clicked that icon several times, and it sorted itself without me clicking like mad.
