Previous npc family won't move out of my new plot!

Before I moved my zoi family, I made sure the current npc zoi family living in the lot I wanted was relocated via the map. After claiming the lot as my own, these npc won't leave my plot and door permissions don't work. I've kicked them out of my house multiple times but they just keep doing whatever they please inside and outside of my house.

I've restarted the game, nothing is working. Has anyone had this issue and found a fix?

I finally got them out after playing as the npc zoi family and moving them out a bunch of times in different locations. That was annoying af.

Tried the Emergency Rescue button? I had problems getting rid of the firefighters..

Yeah that button did nothing.

If you know their family name maybe go to city view then families and delete them from there

I don’t want to delete any npc in the city because I’m trying to get to know them.

It was just such a buggy mess. The npc wife stole my Dyson vacuum when I went to check her inventory after they finally left my lot. The teenager stole my gift near the mailbox (watched him do it while I scolded his sibling to leave) and my city’s karma is headed towards good too. Idk wtf was wrong with just this npc family

They dont normally steal the gifts i normally spot them trying to throw them away into the trash and especially the flowers

Like I said they were very buggy as if they still played like they owned the lot I purchased. They refused to go to the new plot I purchased them. I’d hit the ground for each one to ‘Go Home’ but it wouldn’t do anything because the npc could not recognize that they have been moved to a new home.

Does the game have an ingame bug report tool? I don’t want to have to go on discord because well I don’t want to join every game I play just to send a bug report.
