inZOI

Why are people wanting this game to fail so badly?
I love that there's competition to The Sims.
But when I browse social media about Inzoi, I see comments like.

"You can't compare them, The Sims is a complete game, Inzoi is broken and buggy"

"We'll see what game is still around in 5 years"

"Inzoi is bad because it has realistic graphics and you it blew up my laptop when I tried to play"

The hatred of this game just feels so astroturfed to me, wasn't TS4 missing some basic features and was buggy/broken as well?

And the difference between inZoi and the sims 4 is atleast inZoi ADDED BABIES AND TODDLERS DURING LAUNCH!

The first one is incorrect on it being broken, though it is early access and is accurate to the second about it being buggy, but that's entirely expected.

the second one is reserving judgement and wanting to see where Inzoi ends up in a few years, that's not wanting to fail at all, it's just that person wants to see how Inzoi gets on over time.

the third has no relevance to wanting it to fail, if the person doesn't want to get a better computer, that's on them.

so far i haven't seen anything to suggest these people want it to fail. though the one with the "broken" hasn't done nearly enough research it seems because if they had they would understand the process of early access and how long it will take.

The funny (or sad) thing is that even almost 11 years after launch, Sims 4 is still incredibly buggy. And with every addon or patch, new problems are often added. Getting upset about bugs in an unfinished game like inzoi seems silly to me.

I really want the game to succeed. It could do with better labelling of what food is vegan or vegetarian. But overall the game is good. it needs some buff and polish but I'm sure it will get there.

There just seems to be a lot of political activists trying to start drama around this game for some reason.

Because it is to good, and it seems destined to defeat The Sims in a year or two.
This is just two years in development and already better than The Sims 4 base game. I don't see it defeat The Sims 3 in my book, but who knows. That paranormal stuff is difficult to implement. It will have ghosts, and already has Tarot (I have no idea what that does).
it just empty talks.

this is better then then the sims 4(even with porn mods).
but not as good or close to the sims 3.

its too early to judge, the game is far from finished.

They are upset they can't be as degenerate and as fat as they were in the sims 4 look up "inzoi is a bag game #shorts" if you want something to laugh. 😆
Multiple different reasons really. There's a few botnets out there posting and proliferating that stuff across platforms. Also some people are obsessed with the Sims in an unhealthy way (yes even more so than most of us) and see a competitor as a threat to their existence, rather than what it is, which is most likely only a benefit in the long term (because competition always makes both sides better). They don't have perspective on what Sims is good or bad at or how bad it was at launch etc, it's just a perfect thing to them, and how dare anyone attempt anything like it.

Basically the unhealthy part of the fandom, just like everything out there.

The game for me personally has been a blast! Sims base games were bare too till they added more features and turned it into a dlc cash cow.

S4 is such a downgrade from the previous gens, and I regret feeding into EA’s email spams of dlc discount sales. I haven’t even touched S4 in god knows how long now, and have had zero interest in that game genre till InZoi was first announced. I’m even one of those gamers who upgraded their specs and splurged on a higher end monitor in preparation for this early access.

InZoi has been a fresh of breath air for me and I can’t wait to see how it expands in the upcoming months as it already has features that truly impressed me. I have no regrets backing this game and I’m optimistic that the devs are listening to the huge amount of feedback.

There is no reasonable reason to hate this game, except you don't have the money to buy it and your parents do not want to pay it for you, or you work at Electronic Arts and will loose your job by the competition. That are pretty much the only reasons I would see, so just ignore the ones that are writing that this game will fail, they are probably somehow just frustrated about their own life. That is usually the reason.

The Sims was the only game I ever saw that was constantly repaired by its users, because they always released broken stuff.

The inZOI game will improve and right now it is still far from being real good ( but it's also not really bad ) but that does not mean it won't get better. Lets support the developers with ideas and suggestions and bug reports and look forwards to updates as always in early access. The ones that are complaining and nagging do in the end miss out on the whole fun, at least my humble opinion ;)

1. But when I browse social media about Inzoi, I see comments like.

2. "You can't compare them, The Sims is a complete game, Inzoi is broken and buggy"

3. "We'll see what game is still around in 5 years"

4. "Inzoi is bad because it has realistic graphics and you it blew up my laptop when I tried to play"

5. The hatred of this game just feels so astroturfed to me, wasn't TS4 missing some basic features and was buggy/broken as well?

1. Yeah "social media" the most reliable source of information. Only used for propaganda, scams, data mining & complaining. Stop using it.

2. On the storepage there is in bold EARLY ACCESS. All EA games are unfinished, so have bugs. hence the nametag EARLY ACCESS. just read the text.

3. I don't know whats the question? all games that are out now will be out around in 5 years. Unless its a live service game. Inzoi is not.

4. Before buying a game you should look out for realistic screenshotsand the game's requirements. If it don't meet your hardware then don't buy it. You also don't buy a car if it does not fit in your garage. Anyway if you want a decent gaming experience buy a decent gaming PC. and not play it on a laptop that still uses floppy disks.

5. probably, i would say all tripple AAA and AA games are very buggy these days.

There is a whole games producer called EA. The Sims is still riddled with bugs.:steammocking:
I guess ppl are just unhappy within themself why they need some kind of valve to let it all out. It wouldn't just be about the game, it could have been any game as long as it helps them to let out their own frustrations about their life.

For me, i grew up with Sims 1, also played Sims 3 and Sims 4 and most people like Sims 3 over Sims 4 as there are a few things that Sims 3 had that Sims 4 didn't have anymore + that the developing of Sims 5 was cancelled.
I loved all Sims games but stopped when after the last updates my mods stopped working and game didn't started anymore. I've got Inzoi on my list for some time now and after playing, there are a few things that needs some attention but it is at least what many Sims gamers have wished for Sims 5 and it still is early access and some people think that early access means that the game is already in it's final state and just gets content updates, they do not understand that this is a state for the community to test the game and report the bugs that the developers can work on them and consider the ideas of the community aswell.

For me, as a fan of the Sims, i am looking forward for Inzoi in what direction it will go and i am more than happy that finally somebody made something similar.
