Simulation Time vs Length of Day
So I switched my Length of Day to 4 hours after a bit to see how well it played because if it was good enough I was going to switch to the 24 hour model to just leave the game running.
Only problem is the only noticeable difference is just how fast/slow the in-game time changes. So the Zoi still finishes tasks at the same speed as default (roughly) and their needs seem to go down around the same pace. Because of all of this my Zoi starts to get hungry after like 45 minutes-1 hour of in-game time. Not to mention he needs to sleep multiple times a day (and with the current speed up settings it's like scratching nails on a chalkboard when your Zoi needs to sleep at 10AM, 3PM, and 9PM and you just gotta sit there at x8).

Wish that if we change the Length of Day setting that it would have a bigger impact on the actual function of the game outside of just the flow of time (and if it does have an impact if it could be re-balanced or provided as an option to alter on our end).

I haven't tried 24 as it seems crazy long, how does this work with school/work? Do the Zoi's have to be in the office for 8 rl hours?? Not very playable if so...

I think so. I haven't actually switched to 24 hours since the 4 hour version is already scuffed as is. I wanted to switch to 24 hours while I'm sleeping/at work/out to just let the Zoi do their own thing and switch back to 4 hour while actively playing, but their needs just drop so fast despite the long time that it's just not feasible. And on top of that they finish their skills/tasks so fast compared to the time passed.
It's like every other part of the game is still set to default except for the clock.

This is my impression. Given the **** my Zoi's get up to at the default speeds, I dread to think what they might *achieve* while I was sleeping.
I switched to the different times except 24hrs because I found the 4 hours to be oddly imbalanced with activities, sleep and needs etc.

I also do not trust my zoi, she’s a dirty sock gifting arsehole lol.

Yeah I've been noticing that too and hearing from other people that Zoi's seem to have a tendency towards chaos/jealousy. My own man is supposed to be focused on helping others/volunteering but he's over here prank texting and farting on people. And other people were talking about how their Zoi's were constantly turning against their marriage partners/hating them/cheating.
Someone made the joke that the data fed into what is a "relationship" all came from reality TV where everyone is filled with drama and jealousy hahaha
Yeah mine gets into situations during work where she scolds female colleagues who flirt with their love interest, when she has no business getting in between those couples.

I’m still confused why she gifted a dirty sock to the one she showed interest in. Luckily that zoi was so chill. I actually feel bad pairing them together because I have a feeling she’s going to make his life hell lol
