I'm wondering if there is a way for me to tell what dishes are vegan or vegetarian. I'm not the best in the knowledge of many foods this game shows besides English breakfast and salad haha.:SBpenguin::Finland:

Edit: Now due to how many people want to make this thread into a suggestion thread I have updated the title of the thread to reflect on it being a suggestion thread. I am honestly surprised to see the thread still going after a week maybe more. Not that I have a problem with it.

I would love having labels for these things as eating a dish that contains meat gives the zoi the uncomfortable mood penalty for a bit. The way I set up my zoi is loves vegetable and dislikes meat in traits. Experiment with how I have had it set up for yourself. Quick meals show things with yellow hearts and cracked hearts. In the menu of make meal to cook/prepare a dish, it don't show any indication of what my zoi likes or dislikes, and I would love to see an improvement in this area of the game it be a list of all ingredients that made the dish(probably be harder to implement), or just simple labels or just slap on the yellow hearts that I personally say should already be visible in the menu but aren't.

I'm not complaining or trying to sound complainy, just expressing the issues I have had so others can try to recreate them and understand where I'm coming from.

I am honestly surprised the game don't have milk. Now I even have to check if it has cereal.
They have oatmilk in vending machines.
Proper labelling for foods expessially for vegan or vegetarian foods. It would be good to show labels for this. As some of these things don't even show a golden heart indicating it's fine. Then after the zoi eats the meal it gives them a uncomfortable mood. Hard for me to know which is which without trial and error. Even having milk in the refrigerator is something I would expect to see haha.

I am making a actual suggestion.
....
But no I'm being true to what I made my post about. I'm shocked this post is honestly getting responses still.

And that it's a really brilliant idea. I would also add dishes suitable for celiacs and diabetics. (Maybe this is the wrong thread or I'm being cynical.).

In fact, I think it's more important than vegan menus, since nowadays no one is dying (not usually) from eating meat, dairy, or eggs :steamfacepalm:

PS: Lactose intolerance is also a serious dietary problem. My mistake.
The idea is fantastic. For everyone else around the thread that was claiming why can't you just pretend they would make vegan/vegetarian versions of the meals haven't probably played the game much. As if you eat a food that contains meat it gives your zoi a negative mood penalty. The game don't have labels to help indicate which food contains which said ingredients. There is a lot of room for improvement in the cooking aspects of the game.

set your zoi's preference to not liking meat and liking vegetables, you can then go the fridge or cooker/stove and see which ones your zoi loves and which ones your zoi's hate, that should help filter it out for you.
Wish it was that simple. But many of the food items under the what to cook menu in the fridge don't show if your zoi will like it or hate it. Even after you cook it and click on the plate it still don't show a heart. But after the zoi has started eating it they get the uncomfortable mood penalty from doing something they didn't like.

It probably is that simple, just bugged at the moment.
