I'm wondering if there is a way for me to tell what dishes are vegan or vegetarian. I'm not the best in the knowledge of many foods this game shows besides English breakfast and salad haha.:SBpenguin::Finland:

Edit: Now due to how many people want to make this thread into a suggestion thread I have updated the title of the thread to reflect on it being a suggestion thread. I am honestly surprised to see the thread still going after a week maybe more. Not that I have a problem with it.

I would love having labels for these things as eating a dish that contains meat gives the zoi the uncomfortable mood penalty for a bit. The way I set up my zoi is loves vegetable and dislikes meat in traits. Experiment with how I have had it set up for yourself. Quick meals show things with yellow hearts and cracked hearts. In the menu of make meal to cook/prepare a dish, it don't show any indication of what my zoi likes or dislikes, and I would love to see an improvement in this area of the game it be a list of all ingredients that made the dish(probably be harder to implement), or just simple labels or just slap on the yellow hearts that I personally say should already be visible in the menu but aren't.

I'm not complaining or trying to sound complainy, just expressing the issues I have had so others can try to recreate them and understand where I'm coming from.

Your Zoi would probably know no difference, dont matter to them.
Just pretend or something, if people can pretend to be a woman, so can you about this.

I'm on the right just like you. But to be fair your not being much of a contribution to my thread or topic here. Your only interested in flame baiting.
As far as I checked. No you can't see indicators if it's vegetarian or vegan friendly. They do have the desire pop up on the wants queue for desire vegan or vegetarian dish, but no way to tell what foods are vegan without you knowing the foods themselves unfortunately.
Nope. No labels for what each dish contains in terms of ingredients.
I don't think there is anyway you can check right now besides the heart icons for preferences.

Aww man, would of been nice. Hopefully they add something like that on the future considering I would like to have my diet in the game so the zoi I created to look like me isn't eating something I know I don't really like or would eat.

No go for the mango, it's made of meat obviously.

Sure Ramen would be a safe bet? I mean I'm "just" living in Japan and while I'm not vegan I know from friends that vegan ramen is really hard to get. (It's there and pretty good though). Even without obviously meat as topping the broth mainly is made of meat or fish

I believe they could add something like in restaurants menus is done to say what is vegan/vege in dish descriptions,or maybe they should script it that vegan/vegetarian diet zoi automatically choose right dish to cook to stick to the diet

You can always look every serving up on youtube to find out if its vegan. :mhwgood:

Not really helpful as there will be vegan friendly version of every dish there just about knowing today's world. Labelling it in the menu vegetarian or vegan would be a good solution to the issue.

I agree. They got the wish for vegan and vegetarian food for the zois. But nothing legally any of the foods vegan or vegetarian friendly.
Why can't you pretend that the vegan zoi would make the vegan version of the food?
